National Youth Day is celebrated on 12 January to highlight the youths who are the future of our country and to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda who always motivated the youth of the country and spoke about the right use of the youth in the development of the country.

National Youth Day creates awareness and provides knowledge about the rights of people in India. It is a day to educate people to behave properly in the country. The main objective behind the celebration is to make a better future for the country by motivating the youths and spreading the ideas of the Swami Vivekananda. National Youth Day is also famous as Yuva Diwas.

29th District Level National Children's Science Congress-2021:

29th District Level National Children's Science Congress -2021 held in Ambedkar Hall, KNIPSS , Sultanpur on 22 November 2021. In this competition 05 projects were participated from KNICE, Karaundia. Out of 05 our 01 Project prepared by Miss Ayushi Maurya & Master Aryan Gupta of class 09 has been selected for State Level NCSC-2021.

The project was guided by Miss Rajni Dubey and Mr Asmit Gupta. Principal, Vice - Principal, Academic Coordinator and all Staff congratulated to students and guide teachers for State Level selection.

GLOBAL IODINE DEFICIENCY DAY CELEBRATIONS
21 October 2021 was celebrated as Global Iodine Deficiency Day in KNICE Karaundia, Sultanpur. Students were assembled in the morning assembly ( Adhering the norms of covid -19). In the assembly, Dr. N. D. Singh, Principal KNICE, addressed the students and deliver a vital information on the importance of iodine and the diseases caused by its deficiency. In the said

program, Mr. Asmit Gupta (PGT Biology) also enlightened the Students about the importance of iodine in our daily diet during childhood while addressing the students there were some points that were highlighted during the program, which are mentioned below:
1. Why the Iodine is essential in diet?
2. Sources of Iodine.
3. Deficiency diseases are- Goitre, Creatinism and Myxodima and it's consequences were discussed with the students.
4. Geographical area susceptible to the threat of Iodine deficiency i.e. hilly regions and frequently flood affected land are deficient of iodine in soil and crops grown their is also having deficiency of iodine that's why people residing in such area affected with the above mentioned diseases.
The short programme left a indelible impression on the mind of students.
5. Iodine is essential for synthesis of Thyroxine which regulates BMR of the body.

CAREER COUNSELLING WORKSHOP: 04th MARCH 2021
School has organized a career counseling programme of students for career counseling and stream selection for professional courses in graduation level on 04th March 2021. This informative session was taken up by Prof. S.D. Sharma, Director General, KNGI, Sultanpur. Other speakers included Mr. Ratnesh Singh and Mr. Raghvendra Tripathi, Deptt. of Engineering and Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Deptt. of Pharmacy. The staff who took the workshop were immensely experienced and professional.

The interactions made sure that there was no low point in the session. It gave everyone a clear perspective for the long run. At last Principal, Dr. N. D. Singh had guided the students how to secure good marks in board examination and motivated them by his ever inspirational spirits of positivities towards excelling in life.

KNICE, Karaundia Celebrated National Science Day 2021on 28th February 2021.Theme for 2021 was “Future of Science, Technology & Innovation: Impacts on Education, Skills, and Work". Chief guest of the occasion was Dr. V. P. Singh, Department of Education, KNIPSS, Sultanpur. Dr. N. D. Singh, Principal, explained the importance of National Science Day with the help of Power point presentation.

He focused on the working and achievements of some famous scientists like Homi Jehangir Bhabha, Venkatraman Radhakrishnan, Meghnad Saha, Birbal Sahni in the field of science and had brought the drastic change in the world by their extraordinary talent.

DISTRICT LEVEL HINDI DEBATE COMPETITION: 16th FEBRUARY 2021
Hindi debate Competition on the birth anniversary of Maharaj Suhaildev on the topic : Role of hot faction and soft faction in Indian Independence Movement was held at Pt. Ram Naresh Tripathi Sabhagar, Sultanpur.

Chief Guest of the Occasion was Sri Ravish Gupta, District Magistrate and Dr. Arvind Chaturvedi, Superintendent of Police of Sultanpur. Two of our students Master Aryan Maurya and Miss Divyanshi Singh had participated in the Senior category and got participation certificate of the same.

NATIONAL ROAD SAFETY COMPETITION: 15th FEBRUARY 2021
06 students had participated in National Road Safety Competition organized by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh which was held on 15th February 2021 at Keshkumari Girls Intermediate College, Sultanpur. Miss Anshika Tripathi and Miss Kajal Kumari had participated in Painting Competition, Miss Shagun Dubey and Miss Jyoti had participated in Poetry writing and Master Ritesh Srivastava and Master Aryan Maurya had participated in Quiz Competition guided by Mr. Dev Brat Singh.

Among these Miss Jyoti got first prize of Rs 3,000 and Miss Shagun Dubey got consolation prize of Rs 500 in Poetry Writing competition and Miss Anshika Tripathi got consolation prize of Rs 500 in Painting Competition.

STATE LEVEL NATIONAL CHILDREN’S SCIENCE CONGRESS- 2020
28th NCSC -2020 (A flagship program of NCSTC, DST, Govt. of India) was held online from 21-23 January, 2021. The Budding Scientists- Master Ritesh Srivastava, Master Aman Bhatt guided by Mr. Asmit Gupta and Miss Shweta Yadav, Miss Vaishali Srivastava guided by Miss Rajni Dubey participated at district level competition on the topic “Alternative source of energy: Hydrogen” and “Multilayer farming for Urban areas”

respectively got selected for the state level, which was held on 18th January 2021 online. The children got a very good exposure at the event as they got an opportunity to interact with some of the renowned scientists and other dignitaries working in the field of Science & Technology and its use in innovating things for clean, green and healthy nation. On this glorious day Hon’ble Manager sir Mr. Vinod Singh ji, Hon’ble Manager madam Mrs. Asha Singh ji and Principal of the Institute Dr. N. D. Singh congratulated the students for their hard work and the teachers for motivating the students as well as guiding them towards this much awaited acknowledgement.

PETROLEUM CONSERVATION RESEARCH ASSOCIATION (PCRA) - ESSAY WRITING, PAINTING, & QUIZ COMPETITIONS
Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA), under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. of India, has organized an Essay, Painting and Quiz competition to make Oil Conservation a National Movement. The Essay writing, Painting, and Quiz competitions aim to raise awareness among youth about practical conservation

tips for the conservation of Petroleum products in industrial, transport, agriculture and domestic sector, and how to practice such tips in their daily lives. 20 students from Kamla Nehru Institute of Child Education, participated in all the three categories, out of those Ms. Shreya Rai and Master Shreyansh Singh of Class 9 were the winners at District Level and each of them had received certificate and a cash prize of Rs 3000/-.

GANDHI JAYANTI: 02nd OCTOBER 2020
To commemorate the 151th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, schools affiliated to C.B.S.E are advised to conduct activities and events for students and teachers in an appropriate manners insuring their participation from their homes due to the COVID- 19 situation. Being at home, there has been a regular and rigorous instructions from school teachers to students for dynamic contribution to celebrate this Grand Day. This year too we celebrated 151st Gandhi Jayanti but it was all together in different mode – Virtual.

Our students and teachers actively prepared fancy dress through speeches, poems, songs and a short skit on the life of Mahatma Gandhi and other great leaders. All of these were showcased to all the students and teachers of the school online. Our Principal, Dr. N. D. Singh also encouraged the students to contribute their part of life for good social cause and by being a responsible citizen of the country.


NATIONAL SPORTS DAY: 29th AUGUST 2020
In this year’s National Sports Day held virtually due to the COVID-19 Pandemic with all the students logging in from their places. National Sports Day is celebrated on August 29 the birth anniversary of Hockey wizard Dhyanchand. In view the spike in COVID -19 cases, has asked all government and private schools to organize the FIT INDIA MOVEMENT WEEK online this year. THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES INDIA , PRAYAGRAJ: 15th AUGUST 2020
The National Academy of Sciences India, Prayagraj, Govt. of India celebrated 74th Independence Day on 15 August 2020. Some online (web-based) programs were organized by the Academy to motivate the students and give them opportunities. By the Academy online topic was decided for students to write the essay on the topic: Scientific Temperament. From our school one student Miss Divyanshi Singh of class 10th got 5th position in India.

Over 500 students prepared creative cards and wrote different slogans on the occasion of Biodiversity day which showcase increase understanding, awareness, and positive action surrounding biodiversity issues among students. The students of KNICE showcased the warmth and purity of the bond that is beyond any other relationship in the world. The school has conducted some online activities like Card making and Chart making involving their mothers which made children and mothers super excited.

COVID -19 PANDEMIC COMPETITIONS- 2020
A Quiz Competition was organized by KNGI Group on Covid-19 ‘Novel Corona Virus”. Through this, an awareness campaign among students on COVID-19 has initiated. Students who had participated got the certificate of appreciation.

School itself has organized various Online Competitions on “Covid- 19: Introduction and Prevention” awareness Programme on Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) for creating awareness and support for prevention of COVID-19. Students painted various posters, wrote slogans etc. to spread the awareness against this deadly disease.

40 students had participated in 4th International BRICS Mathematics Competition-2020 held from 22nd April to 19th June. Out of those 7 students achieved winner certificate, 13 students got certificate of achievement and 20 students got participation certificate.

MOTHER EARTH DAY(22nd APRIL 2020 )
Our school celebrated Mother Earth Day through series of activities on 22nd April.
It included basic habits like switching off electrical appliances when not in need, to creative actions like reuse of old clothes, recycled of paper etc.


KNICE STRIVES THE BLAZING CAULDRON OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE IN BOARD EXAMS

The CBSE Class X results was declared with great exultation and jubilation at Kamla Nehru Institute of Child Education as the students once again have carved the niche with their outstanding performance in the CBSE AISSE Board Examination with 100% result in the year 2019.Master Himanshu Singh had stood first with a laudable and appreciable score of 96.2% following Master Shubham Shukla with 96% and Ms. Aishwarya Mishra with 94% marks.

Principal Dr. N. D. Singh along with teachers showered blessings and congratulated the students for their excellent results in the board exams. It was celebration time in the Institute when in his message; the Principal congratulated all the students and wished them success in life. He also mentioned that the rigorous and consistent efforts of the students, teachers and parents have made it possible to achieve remarkable results.


ORIENTATIONPROGRAMME & CAREER COUNSELLING FOR STUDENTS

An Orientation Programme & Career Counselling for students of classes IX and X was held respectively on 10th March and 30th November 2019 at KNICE.


Our Principal Dr. N. D. Singh addressed the gathering and welcomes the parents and guardian for the session 2019-2020 and to acquaint them with the beliefs and practices of the school. Emphasis was laid on the importance of education and the holistic development of each and every child. Further, the parents were apprised with the rules and regulations of the school. Our Vice- Principal Mrs. Tanvi Goel concluded by giving Vote of Thanks to the gathering.

MOTHER’S DAY

No word can define a Mother, She is the Angel sent from above!

The day that celebrates the essence of a mother is Mothers’ Day. Mothers’ Day is something everyone can relate to. Keeping this special bonding in mind, we at KNICE had a special celebration on Mothers’ Day. The little ones danced and sang for their moms to welcome them and make them feel special. The moms as well as their children had a splendid time making a Chef Cap together. It was a pleasure watching the super excited moms with their dynamic and energetic children preparing unique and special dishes for the activity ‘Cooking without Fire’ with full zeal and enthusiasm.

FIT INDIA MOVEMENT

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi initiated the Fit India Movement on 29th August 2019. The programme was shown live where he shared his opinion on modern lifestyles and fitness. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched a nation-wide Fit India Movement on National Sports Day. Stressing on the need to be fit, Prime Minister said that a healthy India is his goal and called for a control on people’s lifestyles.

The event was witnessed by the Principal Dr. N. D. Singh, Vice-Principal – Mrs. Tanvi Goel, teachers and a large number of students of KNICE. The Students were very enthusiastic, excited and were able to connect with the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister. They were very happy to be a part of great initiative and were very optimistic about the future health of the country.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

An investiture ceremony was held at KNICE on 22nd October 2019 to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talents of the school to lead their school from the front with commitment, confidence and competence. The ceremony began with the oath taking ceremony. Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captains, House Captains and House Prefects were administered the oath by the Principal Dr. N. D. Singh. The oath was followed by conferring the badges to all the appointments by Principal, Vice Principal and their respective House Masters and House Mistresses. The ceremony concluded with the handing over of school flags to the Head Boy Master Ashutosh Gupta and the Head Girl Ms. Sakshi Prajapati by the Principal.

CHILDREN’S DAY

14th November 2019 on the occasion of Children’s Day, Kamla Nehru Institute of Child Education, Karaundia paid homage to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his birthday. Being a special day, it was the turn for teachers to showcase their rare talent apart from academics. Much to everyone's surprise they sang songs dedicated to children, they danced and they set the stage on fire with their exuberant performance.

The applauds and the noise showed how much the students were entertained to the core. It truly was a show that will keep their memories ringing for quite some time. The Principal Dr. N. D. Singh on this occasion made a special mention for the under privileged children that we should not forget them and should turn up for their help whenever possible and spread the information  pertaining to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru among the children.

The children got a very good exposure at the event as they got an opportunity to meet some of the renowned scientists and other dignitaries working in the field of Science & Technology and its use in innovating things for clean, green and healthy nation. On this glorious day Hon’ble Manager Mr. Vinod Singh, Hon’ble Mrs. Asha Singh ji and Principal of the Institute Dr. N. D. Singh congratulated the students for their hard work and Mr. Asmit Gupta for motivating the students as well as guiding them towards this much awaited acknowledgement.

YOUTH ACTIVITIES FOR SUPERIOR HUMANITY 2020 (YASH)

Assembly woven around the theme ‘Youth Activities For Superior Humanity’ held from 16th to 18th January 2020 conceptualized by Foundation for Global Science Initiatives in collaboration with Manav Rachna University, Faridabad participated by Master Aryan Maurya and Master Shreyansh Singh of class 9th  selected through  National Level National Children’s Science Congress was found meritorious for Silver Medal on the topic “Alternative source of energy: Hydrogen”

YASH, Youth Activities for Superior Humanity is an event aimed to engage young scientists and artists globally through an interactive science fair. The event provides youngsters with a perfect platform to showcase their creativity and passion, as various competitions across different categories are held at one venue. The participants are accessed by an International jury, and the entries selected will be rewarded with certificates and award.

RISHIKA TRIPATHI OF KNICE, SECURES PODIUM FINISH IN SPEECH COMPETITION

Ms. Rishika Tripathi from class 9th of Kamla Nehru Institute of Child Education, Karaundia, Sultanpur had participated in District level and Regional Level Speech Competition in Hindi organized by Department of Transport, guided by Mr. Jagram Bharghav on 30th November 2019 and 30th December 2019 respectively. The topic of the speech was “Road Safety: A Challenge". At District level the event was organized at Pt. Ramnaresh Tripathi Sabhagar in which she secured 3rd position and participated at Regional Level at Faizabad (U.P).

Ten students Master Himanshu Singh, Master Sameer Sharma, Master Shubham Shukla, Master Saurabh Yadav, Master Abhishek Tiwari, Master Vichar Yadav, Master Shreyansh Singh, Master Akarsh Maurya, Master Aditya Singh of Kamla Nehru Institute of Child Education, guided by Mr. Ankit Soni have participated in the Winter School programme organised by The National Academy of Sciences India, Prayagraj (Govt. of India) from 02nd to 07th January 2020. By participating in winter school students got the chance to visit various Institutions and famous places such as IIIT, University of Allahabad, Jawahar Planetarium etc. to enhance their knowledge and interest in the field of Science & Technology. One of our student Master Himanshu Singh also got certificate for his outstanding performance from NASI, Prayagraj.

SAHODAYA CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

KNICE, Karaundia had participated in various activities of CBSE Schools of Sultanpur organized under Sahodaya Cluster such as General Quiz, Chorus Rhyming, English Language Quiz, Social Science Quiz, Heritage Quiz, Folk Dance, EVS and Science Quiz, Sports Competition (Kho-Kho, Badminton, Kabbadi, Chess) etc. Out of which our students Master Shourya Singh of class VI, Master Shubham Maurya of class VII and Ms. Tejasvi Singh of class VIII secured II Position in English Language Quiz competition and Ms. Sukanya Srivastava of class VIII, Master Shreyansh Singh of class IX and Ms. Shreshtha Srivastava of class X secured III position in Heritage Quiz Competition.

KNICE, Karaundia has also organized Inter school quiz competition under Sahodya cluster in both categories EVS for junior (Class III to V)and Science for senior(class VI to VIII) on 22nd October 2019. Our students showcased their amazing talent and secured first position in both categories. Students Participated are as follows:  Master Varchasva (III), Miss Sankhya Pandey (IV), Master Anirudh Pandey (V),Master Shikhar Tiwari (VI), Master Shubham Maurya (VII) and Master Misbah Shakil (VIII). Principal Dr. N. D. Singh congratulated and awarded them achievement certificates and motivated them by his ever inspirational spirits of positivities towards excelling in life.

NATIONAL CHILDREN’S SCIENCE CONGRESS (11th to 13th November 2017)

Our school has participated in National Children’s Science Congress with 7 projects at District Level out of which one project was selected for the State Level held at S. P. Memorial Institute of Technology Kaushambi, Allahabad in the senior category. Our school was represented by Ms. Shivangi Singh of class XI and guided by Mrs. Tanvi Goel in this competition.

 

NATIONAL SCIENCE SEMINAR 2017 (26th August 2017)

KNICE Sultanpur took on its shoulder the task of grooming children not only for district level but also for state level and National level competitions.
The young speaker of class X, Master Sadanand Tiwari represented the school and secured first position at district level  and second position at Regional and State level in ‘State Science Seminar 2017’ held at State Institute of Science Education U.P, Allahabad. The topic of the seminar was ‘Role of Science and Technology Challenges and Promises’. All reputed schools from 18 regions of Uttar Pradesh had participated in the competition. The performance of the student was much applauded and the innocent effort put in by the whole team was praiseworthy and much appreciated NATIONAL SCIENCE SEMINAR 2017.
